Valkyria Chronicles 4 PC Download is an excellent strategy RPG game developed and published by SEGA. It is very similar to the original Valkyria Chronicles, perhaps slavishly so at times. But the 40 hour adventure is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. While the gameplay is excellent, the characters steal the show. This is a personal tale and the degree to which you'll enjoy the game will be determined by whether you become invested in the story of Claude, Raz, Kai and Riley. Some off-colour humor does raise some eyebrows but for the most part the game has its heart in the right place.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Free For PC has simple enough gameplay, the game goes out of its way to help you whenever a special mechanic is implemented...though the tech-tree system when upgrading weapons seems really iffy. For example the submachine gun line splits off into 3 different trees eventually where 2 trees feel and look extremely weak compared to the center line, so were the rifles and other weapons...I guess they left one of the trees in as nostalgia bait for fans of the franchise...something that sort of rubbed off on me since this is my first VC game.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 Direct Download For PC is one of the best example of what a sequel can do. The use of the updated engine was amazing, creating a very artistic effect on the gameplay, as well as keeping things fresh but not too confusing. the combat system is also updated from VC1, with added complexity on the orders, active/passive skills, as well as a new class. the upgrading system is still the same, but the effect of upgrading your weapons and classes feels much more impactful.
MIssions have been a nice variety and I'm feeling the pressure around chapter 7. This has just been a comfortable game to play so far it's like meeting up with an old friend and just picking up where you left off the last time you saw them.Lots of nice little tweaks to the battle system. TANKS ARE ONE AP. New unit class, squad side stories-- lots of enjoyable stuff from VC1 like the R&D lab, training field, squad/tank customization etc The waterpaint graphic engine these games are known for continues to work at full throttle and produces some nice looking scenes for you to shoot your way through.
